South Africa's underground aesthetic continues to mature with it’s producers deciding to take on new and interesting directions and reference points to add the Afro House and Gqom flavours the world has become accustomed to.

In this case Sound Of Xee traces the much loved Mid Tempo aesthetic of the late 90’s and updates it with the use of techno aesthetics and sampling which is not a majorly explored art form in the region.

Yet again a new direction in the ever growing South African music palette emerges
